Customer Service Supervisor (R1042 )


Position at Taylor Communications, Inc.

Taylor Communications is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor to work in Toccoa, GA. The position is responsible for supervising a staff of customer service representatives and ensures customers are satisfied. The CSS is responsible for training customer service representatives, and for developing and implementing operations and policies.

Shift Available

  • Monday Friday 8:00AM 5:00PM
  • Salaried Position overtime as needed

Responsibilities Include:

  • Handle escalations from inbound phone calls or emails from designated, larger or more complex external customers for inquiries related to order, product and inventory issues.
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 associates.
  • Make proactive decisions based on the known facts.
  • Maintain customer data for users in the online customer store system.
  • Communicate with sales reps, vendors, customers and warehouses regarding order status and inventory issues.
  • May facilitate and coordinate training for less experienced staff and/or assist with complex issues.
  • May facilitate and coordinate training the customer on systems utilized by the customer.
  • Maintain attendance according to facility guidelines as well as be able to work constructively with co-workers, supervisors, vendors, etc. in performing daily responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years minimum experience is required.
  • Prior customer service related experience and basic computer operation skills, accurate typing ablity (35 WPM or more) are needed.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Must have exceptional ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees and/or customers in person, via the telephone, and email.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing or a related field.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form as well as respond in stressful and/or difficult situations with unsatisfied customers

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
